It's so cold in Oregon that the Dog never left the house! Instead, the Old Mutt stayed inside and drank beer and watched old westerns on his 1951 Packard Bell TV.

DOG are you drinking that olympia beer? when I was a member of the green machine us army 71-73 I was in Ak with a guy who lived by that bridge on the can, says they used to wiz off the bridge, the caption of course is "it's the water" that makes the beer taste so good, so much for that......

It's so cold here in Fayetteville, NC that I almost had to put on shoes to go get the paper out of the box this morning.

Tell me, how in the world do you folks living up there where you have days of below zero tolerate it. 50/50 in your blood? Do you get cabin fever? How do you stand not being able to get out and work on the old car under a shade tree in January?

Being Chevy nuts ain't the only thing you're "nuts" about. My, goodness! Lordy, Lordy! I just can't understand it.

Down here in winter we have North Carolina Tarheel and Duke basketball, fishing where you don't need no ice pick and hunting where you don't even have to wear no Polartex (TM) underwear. And, if the weatherman even mentions it might snow a flake or two we get all excited and let out school for a couple days. And if there's none at all, we get real disappointed and long in the face and there ain't no reasoning with us for a day or two.

Brrrrr! Just reading some of your posts chills me to the core. Charlie

Charlie's talkin' about the NC flatlands. Up here in the NC mountains, it's a different picture altogether. But then again, it's a different state more or less, except we pay the same taxes on everything but our likker!

All the Best, Chip

Yeah, the rain is comin' to Vermont tomorrow and Monday. That'll be a real mess.......rather it sayed cold and snowed again. I can plow snow, plowin' rain is tough.

Kinda hard to believe it's gonna rain when it never got out of the teens today......but I've seen it before. New England weather........if you don't like it, just wait five minutes and it will change!!!!

Yep, sure looks like another "El Nino" year. Lot's of rain on the left coast and balmy and overcast on the right coast.

I'll take it every year. "El No-no" snow for me!

I know you guys out East are having some terrible weather but what about us here in Minnesota. Suppose to get up to near 32 degrees tomorrow for our annual Golf On The Lake Tournemant. It's best when it's -10 to +10 and the wind is blowing. snoman Oh well, we'll still have fun. bana2

Jerry just tell all of your golfing buddies at the lake to leave their freezer doors open and conserve the cold!
