I am posting this for a fellow VCCA member Mark #6401 who does
not do internet.
29-36 water pump repair for leakage. Installing a double lip seal type MM515 X 24 X 7 ADL. Install in place of 1/4" of
OEM packing, at just to rear of rear of packing nut. O.D of seal fits snugly in threaded area of housing. Requires light force to press in place. Adjust brass packing nut till you feel it bottom on to seal and turn about 30 degrees.
