How is the best way to clean out my gas tank. It was a new one, but the guy I bought it from did not crank it for a while and it is really nasty in there. I am going to pull it in a few minutes and try to clean it. Was wondering if you could put some red devil lye in there to disolve the crud. Do any of you have any suggestions???

Thanks Guys
Steve

The easiest way to get your gas tank super clean is to take it to a radiator shop that also works on gas tanks and have it boiled out in their hot tank. laugh laugh laugh

I decided to try electrolysis rust and gunk removal. It is bubbling away in a large tank. Will let you know how it comes out. I have a picture if I can figure out how to get it here.

If you do not get your tank clean and ready to use, I HIGHLY recommend a complete refurbish of your tank.
The company that I used is Mobile Services in Carol Stream Il 630 784 0475. They guarantee their process for life!
The $250.00 was worth it!
