I've been a member here for a short time and just got around to buying my first project, a 1966 Impala convertible. The first (of many I expect)question is can anyone interpret my VIN so I know exactly what I have ?

The VIN on both registration and tag inside the driver's door jamb is: 164676T268797. I was told it came with a 283. It now has a 350, so much for originality. Thanks for the help. I know I'll be getting back to you shortly and often.
