I see the GREAT RACE TEXAS is returning to Grandbury, Texas. If you want to have some real fun enter this event. My brother and I entered our bone stock 1931 Chevrolet Sport Coupe in one of these events. I did add a kitchen clock on the dash with a sweep second hand. My brother navigated and I drove. We came in second the first day and first the second day with a final result of Second Overall. A very memorable experience. For information go to www.greatrace.com . The Great Race Texas will be run during the same weekend as the VCCA National Board of Directors' Meeting in Irving.
Great Race Texas Returns to Granbury in 2008
The 20th annual Great Race Texas returns to its roots in 2008 when it is hosted by the City of Granbury. Great Race Texas 2008 is scheduled for March 7 … 9.
The three-day event kicks off with a rally on Friday, March 7. On Saturday, participants can enjoy another day of competition and then end the day with some “spirited driving” on one of the road racing courses at nearby Motorsports Ranch, hosted by the Roush Owners and Enthusiasts Association. Sunday wraps up with a morning of rallying fun, followed by fa finish on the Historic Square down town an Awards presentation at Sandi McRae’s Celebration Hall.

Anyone keeping tabs on the great race.  It seems that it has been postponed due to some problem with China. To bad for all the people that have tried to come up with the entry fee's. Check out the web site for more details.
