Does body number T4060 on a '28 coupe indicate----
The 3060th body built at Tarrytown?
The 3060th coupe body built at Tarrytown?
The 3060th body built systemwide?
The 3060th coupe body built systemwide?

I assume that the numbers started over, at 1000, but was this yearly, or by model? (National, Capitol, etc.)

T 4060 (which is the Body Number) means that your car was the 4,060th coupe built in the Tarrytown factory.

The car serial number (totally different than the Body Number) started at 1,001.

wink :)

Thanks, Mr Dog!
I assume that it was the 4060th of the model, not total since Tarrytown opened.

Correct. Your coupe was the 4,060th coupe built in Tarrytown in 1928.
