I have a 1946 Chevy, original engine was running fine when parked in a temp controlled building 25 years ago. Going through restoration took the engine to engine shop and they said the head had had cracks so i have tracked down numerous used ones but all same issue. Some are worse than other but all in similar spots. Can they be welded? I have some photos that I could email if that would help. It ran fine before but will it keep rolling? Is this normal? Any suggestions appreciated! . I have been trying to call Dennis Ott in Florida but no answer, I hope that he is OK!
