Can anybody advise how cable, retainer and switch clip are assembled to make warning light switch to operate properly?

I wish I could help you on that one... Do you have an assembly manual?

Have the AIM...it’s not illustrated well for the “paddle” installation which I now know how to install thanks to a friend who shared a picture.
