Did Chevrolet use a standard fuel pump in 1966 for all Chevrolet models including the Corvette?

The Corvette with a 300 HP 327 engine uses the same fuel pump as 327 cars.If it has a 350 HP engine the pump fits only that Corvette 327 engine. The AC number for the 300 HP pump is 40018 , a 350 HP 40083 and is available new thru an AC parts distributor. If the Vette has a 396 or 427 engine thats a whole different story.

Sounds like you had a great time working in the parts department. I'll bet that you have thought about all of those really cool parts displays and new car announcement days from the 1950's and such. Man, if we could only go back in time!

JYD, Gene may have all of those parts displays and most of the parts stashed away at his place, along with all the parts manuals, anyway if you see one of his cars it looks like it has all new parts too!

All the things that I could have saved that would be of real value today.I did manage to save a 1955, 1956, and '58 dealer album plus some later ones. Also the 16 MM movies (JamHandy) from '46 to '58.Also have the old 16MM projector. The way it is I have enough stuff around and all my good memories chevy

You gotta be kidding about the LUV, don't you? When did the first S-10 make its debute?

I guess The International Order of LUV Collectors and Worshipers Inc. motto could be:

chevy chevy chevy

The S10 came out in 1982.The Luv "went away" in 1983.The S10 used the Luv engine thru 1984.The Luv was built by Isuzu, came out in 1976.Mechanically they were better than an S10 in many ways.

If the LUV "went away" in 1983, then that was a very good year! Ha ha! togo  laugh laugh
