FYI 1987 Chevy Vehicles are now eligible for Judging or Certification for HPOCF and CDPC at 2012 Meets. Also 1988 and 89s can be placed on the judging field as "Display Only." Time flies. We need to consider a new Commercial Class in judging this year. There was a huge model change in the 1988 Truck line.
I have a hard time accepting a 87 as show vehicle since I still use them for daily drivers and consider them new cars,it seems like yesterday they were brand new and where did the time go. What seems funny is I can find parts easier for my 60s on back vehicles then I can some 80s.
I agree! Also, Chevrolets from the 1980's can still be purchased from used car lots in my area!

HaHa, My Chevy powered 1987 Itasca motorhome still takes us to Texas every winter and Wisconsin every summer. I never thought about entering it in a car show!

Yep,those late 80's show cars are here. With the 90's models knockin' on the show field door step
!I've always had 60's-70's B-Bodies as my toys and my daily is an 89 Caprice wagon.Actually,I am looking forward to judging these new dogs!Especially the 94-96 Impala SS's and Caprices! Jim
It does seem a bit weird that in three more years we can take our "nice" car (a 1990 Lumina coupe) to shows. I guess when the newest vehicle in your fleet is 17 years old that kind of thing is bound to happen.
It's funny how one's perspective changes as time ticks by.
In my local club, I get ribbing from other members driving 20-30s era cars because of my 50's car. They call IT a modern driver! LOL
