Over at the Stovebolt site, I read the following post from OLDSCHOOL CHEV,
Quote
Some one told me to go to Freightquote & see what it would cost to get the motor hauled by freight companies. A one stop shop, I got 6/7 quotes & Ready Way will get it to my local terminal in Medford Or, for $307. Lot cheaper than I could imagine. So it will be on it's way next week. What a deal....

I have not tried Freightquote, but it sounds like a good resource to check out. Here's a link to their website: https://www.freightquote.com/

Update: Another Stovebolter (55shaker) said he shipped a bench seat from Michigan to Illinois via Uship, with a good outcome. Here's their website: https://www.uship.com/

Cheers, Dean
