Hello,
I am looking for a wheel hub “socket” to remove the wheels on a 1927 Capitol truck. Does anyone have an extra for sale or know where I can buy one?
Thanks
Jason

Hi Jason,

Welcome to the VCCA's Chatter forum site! There are a number of folks here who have such trucks. ;-)

I also have a '27 Capitol truck: Lurch (follow the links in my signature). Great truck!

The hub puller you are seeking needs to have 2 3/8 - 16 threads, which is the threads on the hubs. This thread size is the same as many other of the Chevy 4 cylinder vehicles.

They come up on ebay occasionally. I've attached a couple of photos of mine.

Good luck! Dean

Dean,
Thanks .
The truck belongs to my 20 year old son.
He bought off a family that had it for 60 years , and the father and son restored it in the early 70’s.
I’ll post a few pictures when I figure out how.
Thanks again
Jason
