It's not a Chevy, but I bought a pretty neat 1962 GMC Tilt Cab Fire Truck with a 702ci. V12 engine in it. 8890 original miles. Peter Pirsch Ladder Apparatus.
Beautiful! It belongs in a parade today!!

Spanky, you da man. Thanks for sharing.
Next time I come through Burlington I'm going to look you up.......I've said it before but I'm fully retired now and may be heading to Winston fairly soon.
that truck was in service a few miles from me when it was still in service in Wisconsin
I have seen one of those engines running in a firetruck at the Kansas City show and it was awesome.
There is even at least 1 down here. At first glance it looked like someone had bolted 2 V6s together but then noticed the block was a 1 piece casting with 4 separate heads and associated manifolds, 2 distributors. I didnt hear it running though.

I can remember seeing one for the first time, noticed V12 badges on a truck in a junkyard so I opened the hood and seen what looked like a V6 but looked further back and see the rest of it. Half was under the hood and the other half was under the floor.
