The front wheel assemblies I've found for my 39 master deluxe are quite rusted so I went on trying to recondition them. Now, there was no way to take off the bolts that hold the brakes plate ,steering knuckle and steering arm together. So I had to cut off their heads. Then using a vise I've managed to push off the rest of it from the steering arm (that's where they were really stuck from rust).
The manual says those bolts are SAE grade 8,
7/16 20x 2-47/64".
The closest I've found on ebay are :
* SIZE: 7/16-20 x 2-3/4
* Partially Threaded
* 304 Stainless Steel
* 25 Pieces
The question is , do this meet the resistance standard or I'm risking driving into a tree? Note that US bolts are not available where I live so ebay is my shoping place for these.
Thanks everyone.

You might contact McMaster-Carr. They might ship to you. Stainless fasteners won't have the strength of Gr8.

McMaster-Carr answer:

Mihai (that's me),

Due to the complexity of U.S. export regulations (strange, basically I've bought more or less half the car form ebay), McMaster-Carr only accepts orders from our established customers overseas. We will not provide a quotation nor will we accept your orders. We regret any inconvenience this causes you.

Kathy

Any other place I could try?

Have you tried "Graingers"? or "Fastenals"? They both have web sites.

And the beat goes on music
Tried Graingers. Some time after completing the order I get an email from them requesting me to fill a form with all sort of data about my business monkey . Also I should note that they are a "business to business company only" .
Sent an email to "Fastenals" asking about overseas shipping, now I'm waiting their answer.
Can you think of any place that would sell me bolts ?

Do you have a friend in the US who could buy them and then mail them to you?

Unfortunately no.

What about an industrial hardware supply house in the UK or Germany? Surely you should be able to obtain these bolts in Europe.

Try Googling "bolts" That may find more.

These are a few that I have used in the past.

And from the bolts series, could anyone tell me what sort of bolts are those circled in red in my picture. I've look them up in three parts books and haven't been able to find them. Perhaps I don't know how to read that stuff.

@Beamer : thank you again, I've answered your PM.
