I am restoring a 1940 2 dr Master Deluxe. I am in the process of beginning the assembly of a car I did not take apart. I am a big fan of not reinventing the wheel. Therefore I was wondering if anyone has compiled a list of all the various bolts, washers, nuts, etc. I will need to assemble this car? I did get a description from Chev of the 40's for the front and rear fenders so that is a start. I also have the parts book, but sorting through that would be mind numbing and could take short of forever to do. If no such list is available, there may be when I get though.

Thanks

PCD,
I would suggest looking at an assembled car, taking lotsa photos and making notes. There are a couple of '41s in Houston area that I am aware of but don't know of a 40.

How far apart is your 40? Frame off? I just finished my 40 and have a ton of pictures that I would share with you. dance

BigBob,

Yes, totally frame off and disassembled. I have been looking at Bill Bradford's '41 for info, so I am not totally in the dark. I just thought there may be a list somewhere out there to make this a bit simpler. I don't mind feeling my way through this and if you have pics, that would help as well.
