We are starting to look for running boards for my friend's '49 3100 (1/2 ton). We are hoping that we can find used ones that maybe need a little repair at a reasonable price.

We have seen some listings for running boards for a 3/4 ton which of course are longer.

Is the only difference in the length? If so, would it be possible to remove a section from a 3/4 ton running board and fit it to 1/2 ton?

We have a nice original pair that are painted black...ready to install.
And we have a pair that will need some some minor work.

Both pair are rust free Arizona parts.

PM us for more info.

Rusty,
I have a pair in mid Missouri. They are straight but have deep pits where some step plates were mounted. Other than that I think they are pretty nice. Let me know if you are interested. I'll See if I can figure out how much I have in them.

Mike
