hello, does anyone have any leads on this rear end? i need one for my uncles project. if i dont find one, i may have some gears made. id appreciate any help, im in los angeles CA. thanks
Sorry, I cannot help you with the parts you wish. If you consider new production of these rare R&P gears, please let me know.

Five years ago I had a major crash on the drive shaft, the ring and pinion gears and the rear end on my 1922 Four-Ninety, the first year with the spiral cut gears, same as on 1923-1924 Superior models.

Maybe you can have some help from my thread?

I also made an inquery about new production, see this post on the 1912-1928 forum and this thread on the 1916-1922 (only 490) forum.

After some time I was lucky to find a combination of good used parts and, actually, one NOS ring gear. I installed them and since then I have been putting on 3 000 kilometers, 1 800 miles, so far without problem.

But who knows for how long? Therefore, maybe I can be interested in buying a new production set, if the price is reasonable. Also, I know a qouple of guys here in Sweden who maybe can be interested.

Anyway, good luck!
thank you for the response, i have read your thread on the rear end extensively, hoping you had a solution with the common Ford gears. i too have found used rings but no pinions, i have my uncles rear end at a shop that says they can have the gears made . we want a few sets so i am definitely interested in selling some sets, let me get costs for extra sets and ill be in touch.
