Hello, I have a 1935 Chevy Master. I'm trying to put use some 16 inch spoke rims on the vehicle. but the brake drums are wider then the hub on the rims. Does any one know what brake drums will work with these rims?

Thank you for your time

It will be easier to find wheels to fit the original drums than the other way around.

Yes it would, it would have taken 17 inch rims. But I already bought the 16 inch rims, had them power coated and a new set of 16 inch tires. So I would like too save money and use the 16 inch. Tires have really gone up.

I assume the wheels you have are from a 1935 Pontiac. I had the same problem fitting them to my 1934 Master Roadster with 1937 hydraulic brakes.
I got around it by making up 3/8'' wide spacers and using longer wheel studs.

I change the rear end to a 36 rear end to convert to hydraulic brakes
