Hi
Does anyone have the 1934 cam specs? What I am looking for is the base lobe diameter and intake and exhaust lobe heights (if they are different) for the stock cam. If you have specs of intake and exhaust durations that would be nice to see.

Thanks

About all I can find is the 1934 Master engine camshaft had intake valve lift of .316" and exhaust was .309". I believe this was measured at the valve stem.
The 1935 was the same. The 1936 had camshaft revisions as well as valve timing changes that would enable the engine to produce more power at a lower RPM.

Thanks Gene. I can calculate the lobe heights from those numbers.

I like the idea of more power at a lower rpm. is the 36 cam interchangeable with the 34 master? Do you have any specs on the 36 cam?

If you purchased a new cam for a 1934 or 1935 after 1936 you would get the 1936 camshaft for replacement.
I have more 1936 cam info that is in the 1936 Engineering Manual. If you PM me your email address I will scan the page with the graphs.
