Hello to all, My front [seat cushion] keeps wanting to slide forward off the wooden seat frame. There is a curved piece of thin metal at both front corners to help hold it in position. But the cushion wants to ride up over the top of these and slide forward while I'm driving. Now Iv'e noticed while looking at the "front edge" of the wooden seat frame, down next to the floor, there's small wood screws every 4-6" inches all along the front edge. Could there have been another piece of thin metal along the front to help hold the cushion in place?? or maybe the first owners put something there? Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks, PS in frustration, I screwd on two pieces of 2" angel Iron to hold the cushion place. Looks like HECK but it works for now.

I have a 1938, and the seat is different. I'm not sure what your talking about, but, does this help?
