looking to buy a complete harness for my 35, I looked at a few in some catalogs that range in price from mid $200 to mid 400 some seem to be non oem look to oem cloth coverd.I kinda don't know which one to go with, it is not for show.also I have a voltage reg on it now or should I put the cut out back on, whitch I don't have, the engine is a 42 216 all 6 volt. Would anybody know of a person that makes them on the side.I figure it's not a hard job to do but I'm doing all my own work on this this truck myself so I dont have time for this part and I dont like elec.work that much thanks for your input
You would be wise to purchase a harness from one of the established sources like Y&Z or Rhode Island. Less painful in the long run.
is there a way to contact them phone or web thanks
http://letmegooglethat.com/?q=YnZSorry, but I just love this. No offense intended.

now thats funny,What would be the offense. what do you think about the harness from Obsolete chevy parts, filling station or Jim carter. I did look up YnZs and Roade Island looking at all options
I used a YnZ complete harness on my 36 and was VERY happy. Well made with complete instructions and you can always talk to the owner.
Glad you liked the Google It for you.
Richard
As far as I know any wiring harness you get from example Filling "Station, Chev's of the 40s, ect comes from Y&Z or Rhode Island.
Ray if they come from YnZ how come the price diffrence are the made more simple or just not the oem look, the cloth does look good.Did yours come complete with light wires, and what about my earlier post about the cutout or regulator
The difference in price is due to the cost of each supplier to do business (buy or make the parts, ship, inventory, pay employees, advertising, etc.). It just doesn't make cents to make and inventory two different parts for low volume products.
