Brake pedal sticks was working fine. Tried lubricating linkage and actuating pedal by hand... Still sticks any ideas? Thanks in advance John

I would disconnect all linkage to check the pedal assy first. Then check the front and rear separately. Hopefully that will help to narrow down where the problem is.

Once a year before touring season I get under the car and oil every clevis pin, pivot point, and movable part on the service and emergency brake systems with 30 wt. It reduces wear and will prevent many problems like the one you just described. These old cars are not like todays cars where they easily go 100,000 miles with very little or no maintenance. The valves and water pump should be lubed a maximum of 50 to 100 miles.
