My friend is asking: We have two engines that we do not have the right heads, I have found the numbers that have been entered into the block.
T 540717 and K 2973489. The engine we have in the car is probably from the end of 1940 or the beginning of 1950, the other engine seems to be a bit longer than it would hve been in a 1937 truck because we get a water pump and fan all the way into the radiator ( almost no clearance).
Should we pull the front a little further, we get a clearance of about 2 cm in the back of the hood.
Was there a normal difference in the length of truck engines during this period?

Please, respond directly to: Terje Haugland, terahau@gmail.com
if you have suitable heads for sale or know some of the answers.

Thanks and wishing you all A Merry Christmas ansd a Happy New Year!

Solan,

I've noticed that no has posted here on chat regarding your inquiry. Although you did ask to be contacted directly. So I hope some has contacted you with the needed information.

I looked in my parts book and I did not see either casting number for groug 0.033 "block."

Best,
Charlie computer

Charlie
The numbers Solan posted could well be engine serial numbers not part or casting number, I dont have access to any documentation.
