Maybe a little past halfway, only took 9 years to get here. I think I won't have enough runway to learn how to upholster so I will have to find someone. Always wanted to restore one and learn, and I have!

Looking great Dave. Are you going black with cream saddles because that’s what it looks like in the picture. My Olds gets a ton of looks in those colors. The interior is a very plain interior with a leather lower cushion and backrest. The rumble seat, sides of the front seat frame, parcel tray area, and all panels are vinyl. The front seat has a single seam down the middle and no buttons anywhere. The Olds and chevy used the same interior other than the golf bag door in the rumble area. Some of the shapes are different but the same design through the two plus pontiac and Buick 50 series. The same roof also for all four. I included a picture of my Olds in black and cream and the link to over 2000 photos of its restoration. There is lots of interior and roof photos for reference. I was never able to find much on restoring a cabriolet or convertible coupe so I started that restoration thread. It has all the wood restoration right up through the whole car. I had sent it to chipper because he was helping restore the wood in a 31’. Possibly it will help you with your interior.

Ted, Thanks for the info, I have been going back through your thread and this will make it easier.

My car is code 74 which is Daphnis Green a very dark almost black green and English Grey which is also a dark green but slightly lighter than Daphnis. Cream stripes, saddles, and wheels. It should look great.

I may take a shot at the seats, I have been looking on and off for an old singer machine.

Nice colors. The Olds only came in four color combinations in 32’, all black, maroon with black fender, a light and dark bluish green, and tan and brown. I already have a code 81 chevy so tan and brown was out. The bluish green looked pastel and carnival like, and I didn’t like the maroon. My car was originally all black so that’s why I went with. I too have been considering a sewing machine. You need what they call a walking foot machine and they are more money. They’re in the $750+ category.
