I have only ever seen one that was on ebay a couple of years ago and would love to have one but it was out of my price range I wish I'd kept a picture of it.

Too cool. Great collectible. Just think, someday we'll be explaining to our great grandkids that people used to wear little roundish dial indicators on their arms to tell what time it was.

And they had to twist the top several times, each day, by themselves, with their own hands, to keep them running.

Amazing.

That's beautiful. I generally dislike watches made from car insignia, but this one is great. Another reason to look a watch shelves in pawn and antique stores.

There's another on ebay advertizzed as a 1927. Kinda cool too, but for $800 I can get a real honeycomb radiator core.....

I'd love to own one of these watches, does anyone know what they were made for or any history? Were they like the 1927 watch that was presented for making a sales quota? it looks like there were not many of them produced.

The reverse of this watch reads as follows: 60 Chevrolet-club 1929.

I would assume this watch was used the same as the 1927 radiator watch and that was to award a salesman for achieving a certain goal. In this case selling 60 cars during the sales period. If my theory is true, there would not be a lot of these watches given out as selling 60 cars is a major achievement.

Jumping forward to 1932 and the goal apparently was 72 as several items of memorabilia are associated with that number.
