Can anyone tell me the approximate oil capacity of the 3 speed '32 transmission. Also the diff. capacity.
Regards,
John
Transmision capacity is 2 1/2 pints, differential is 2 quarts from dry.

Thanks Jack,
Does that include the freewheeler, which appears to have a separate fill port.

John
NO , the free wheeling unit also needs an additional 3/4 pint.

Thanks Jack.
I was intending to use Penrite - Transoil 140, would this be ok?

John

SAE 140 is okay. You can add a little chassis grease if you find you have a leakage problem. SAE 160 (or old designation 600) is what was originally installed.

Thanks Chipper,
Penrite has 3 grades designed for these old cars, 90, 140 and 250,
I could use a bit of 250 to fatten it up if necessary? Their tech dept. recommends the 140.

John
