Any suggestions on an lost ignition key for a 27 capitol? The guy that I bought from said he had it and now he can’t find it? I thought I could use another key but I been trying to
find one that will fit with now luck so any help will be appreciated

My advise is to not use the stock ignition switch. They contain some die-cast "aka white metal or pot metal" parts that can render the switch inactive with no warning. I install a modern 30 amp toggle switch. I had used the "coaster" switch but after cleaning the contacts two times and having it fail decided a more reliable replacement was warranted.

If you want to have it look operational you can put a key in the slot and hide the toggle switch under the dash. I place it on a small plate with hole for the toggle switch and one for one of the steering column bolts. Works well and nearly out of sight.
