The time has come to find a new home for my baby: Lurch.

He is in pretty good shape mechanically. Just last week I drove him 70 miles round trip to a car show in San Jose, CA. He got 12 mpg. ;-) The problem is that I'm getting up there in years and I don't have the energy needed to set him up and tear him down for every show that we go to.

Here's info about his viability:

1. Only a few hundred miles on the brake linings

2. Modern neoprene outer seals on his rear axle so oil won't get into the brake area

4. Refurbished 1928 four speed transmission installed in 2017

5. Good, roadworthy used tires and new inner tubes installed in 2022

6. New radiator core in 2022

7. In the past three months, I've done the following work. This was performed to fix a squealing noise that popped up at the Porterville meet in 2022:

- Installed a new pilot bearing
- Installed a refurbished clutch (good used disk with new linings)
- Replaced the u-joint with a very good used one
- Put new seals on u-joint ball housing
- Installed a new old stock (NOS) front torque tube bushing and put in a brand new neoprene seal behind that bushing.


I want him to go to someone who will appreciate the character that he is and provide him a good home. I will not sell him as a parts truck.

Asking price = $5500. He comes with eight-foot plywood cows and some other accessories.
