Can some one tell me what one needs to get for the tumblers in the trunk handle lock? My understanding is the ignition and doors should be keyed the same and the trunk is different. Also any leads as to where one can buy a complete set for the 47 Stylemaster coupe? Thanks

Jarvis Erickson in Lynwood WA. 425 776 2804 phone/fax. Good luck. Ignition switch key. He probably has the truck tumber.

The Filling Station may have these parts. They seem to have everything else. Do an EBay search also. There is one guy on there that parts out old cars. He just shows a picture of the car and states X part for sale with a picture of the general part still in the car. If you see an add like this and they do not have the part you need listed send them a message and ask if the car still has the part. I have done this and gotten a response that it did with an offer to buy the part.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.
