That part's not listed in the 1929-32 Master Parts Price List in the "Hot Water Heater" section, so I would guess that it's for a later car.

All the Best, Chip

Part Number 363645. I have several of them and the correct parts to install. They were dealer installations. The February 2005 G&D has an article on the heater and installation that I wrote.

I don't have a copy of the February 2005 G&D. Can you tell which heater hose goes to the higher fitting on the heater? '32 Chev car.

VCCA members can see all issues of the G&D on the main VCCA.org website. Will need to sign in and then you can see a bunch of information reserved to VCCA members.

The answer to the location of the hoses on the heater. Hot water from top rear of the cylinder head to the bottom tube on the heater. Other tube connects to the lower radiator hose. There are special connections at each of the hose locations. There also included a thermostat housing that mounted on the cylinder head outlet to the top of the radiator. Later there was a plate added to the outlet that had held a thermostat and outlet for the heater hose.
