I am trying to narrow down the car make/model of a few old family vehicles (all with limited view of the cars). Two of the three may not be Chevrolets but all should be '31-'40 years. The one that is definitively a Chevy I think may be a 32 Confederate but what is throwing me is that the radiator/grill matches that year/make but the car only has the single bar headlight bar and has a piece that extends out at the bottom of the hood (angled). I have not seen that year/make with the single bar and nothing showing the "hood" part. The car phot is likely from the current year and not a modified one though my grandfather was a mechanic and could have mixed parts (unlikely though as it wasn't taken years after the car). Any help or direction (and sample pics or docs to confirm) are appreciated.

1933 Chevy trucks used painted version of the 1932 Car radiator shell. There is no windshield so I am guessing it is a 1933 Fire truck. It is easy to imagine that the color is red going by the shade in the black and white photo.
