This looks like a job that can be done with 51 powerglide in car. I would like to clean the screen and replace seal if needed. Are there any things I should know before doing this job.

Not really, there shold be no surprises.
Just have a new seal.
Years ago this was never done, Seemed like the screen always stayed clean.
