Where can I get the carpet for my 1928 Chevrolet Coach?
Preferably green but would consider black.
Are these available pre made? Or do I have to buy bulk and cut myself, and if so, can the edges be 'binded' with some edging.
Any good sources out there? I am assuming that it is loop carpet?
There was no carpet in this basket case when I bought it, any pictures of anyone who has carpet in their similar model would be appreciated (such as the rear where it meets the rear seat base and the front where it meets the front floor boards near the brake and gas pedal etc)

Thanks!

I am not familiar with the 28 but I believe they did not originally have any carpet and only a rubber floor mat. The filling Station sells a black cut-to-fit rubber replacement part # M-12.

I looks like I have original snaps installed on the floor, did the original rubber floor mat have snaps on them to hold them in place?

. This is a guess and bad memory but I believe there was a rubber mat in front and taupe carpet in back. I don't have a coach, but looking in the back of a sedan, there may have been a carpet there. All that remains is the head, rocker arms, and associated lubricants. There appears to have been a carpet once upon a time. Pix #1. . . .
. I looked thru the 28 owner's manual and found a picture of care needed for the interior of a sedan. It doesn't mention the floor covering. Pix #2. .

I think Lou is correct regarding rubber in the front and carpet for the rear. My post above was only in reference to the front mat.
