I just purchased a 1954 Chevy half-ton but the bench seat is missing the seat tracks, pulleys, and cable system. I’ve tried for several days to find this hardware with no luck.

Any suggestions? What about seats that used a long rod that goes side to side? Would that work in place of the cable system?

Thanks
Bill D

Did you try the two guys mentioned in your "dash" post?

Also check with Mother Trucker AZ aka Joe Mendola in Tucson. He probably has a complete seat assembly.

Is the seat riser still welded to the floor?

Thank goodness!

Typically that is the first thing an owner removes when they are customizing an Advanced Design truck. Their plan is to install modern seats which need to mount directly to the floor.

It is very difficult to find a riser. Typically they get so damaged during removal that they just get scrapped.
