Chipper ChatMaster - 15,000 Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 19,758 Likes: 63 The Great State of TEXAS	The same Carter W-1 was used on passenger and 1/2 ton trucks. 212S was the early one (not recommended) 235S was the later one (much better). Other Carter W-1s can be used but are considered replacements. The 1 1/2 ton trucks used 222S (early) and 222SA (late). They had a raised "T" on the body casting.
