Trying to find out the correct flywheel installation procedure. I didn't mark it when I removed it. Any help would be appreciated. It's off a 1927 Chevy 1 ton truck

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the VCCA's website!

A couple of folks have run into that problem before, including myself! ;-)

I used the site's Search function (with a search criteria of +flywheel +mark +u|c) and found a number of threads that touch on the subject of the flywheel position. Here are a few of those for your reading pleasure:

1. Flywheel discussion during '28 engine rebuild. In 2017, I rebuilt the '28 engine in my '27 one ton truck (Lurch) and this post was in the middle of that build. Here's the beginning of that journey: Resurrecting a '28 4 banger.

2. Flywheel for a '28.

3. Questions about a 1928 truck

BTW, here are some hints and tips about using the website's Search function: Search function tips.

Keep us posted about your journey with your truck! Add pics too!

Cheers, Dean
