I want to install a modern steering wheel, I don't know which adapter is needed for this column, everything I see listed is for 1950 and later. I want to order the right parts the first time .

Do you have power steering? What steering column is the vehicle?

You would need to get an adaptor to suit the column fitted to the car. If it is the original column it may well be the same as later models.
