Just the other day, I was wondering what had happened to you. I was thinking about calling Chipper to see if he knew where you had gone. Welcome back.

Yeah, welcome back! Did you ever make that trip with your truck out west, you were telling me about on the phone? Looking forward to up and coming posts!

After 2 years of storage, we put the J&M rebuilt engine in the Hillbilly truck. Fired it up and began the breakin procedure. Re torque head bolts and run it again today. Get the fuel and charging system complete and start driving.

Meanwhile, the Bluesmobile lost brakes in Erie Pa. last June. FB Marketplace had a Jag with a salvaged title. Swapped the speaker and roller painted in hotel lot. Finished the rally in last place. (illegal year)Tried to give it to my grand daughter, NOPE. Anybody need a nice Jag? Cheap! Jake Blues

Installed the Mardi Gras yard sale. Hard to believe this heap has a $10k J&M engine but she runs fine. Upgraded to 12 volt. Jethro

Hey Spyphish. That is above and beyond the Beverly Hillbillies.
Have a couple of questions for you. On that spare frame you have there, how rotted out are the engine side pans? I have been looking for a cheap set of those. Also, on the remnants of the PS sill there is a angle bracket that bolts it to the frame and add reinforcement. It also appears the DS one is laying there with a little wood left on it. I could make my own of those very easy but am trying to keep my cab brackets original. Also looking for the two L-shaped brackets that go at the bottom of the A-pillars. I see what looks like a cowl, so I am wondering if you have a set of those brackets. Needs to be a matching set though. Actually, I would be interested in the whole 28 frame for the front brake set up, but to get it from there to here isn't feasible.
Keep having fun before the world stops spinning.
David
