I'm looking for the schematics to help me build a wooden roof for a 1930 1.5 ton truck. If anybody has any resources along those lines I would very much appreciate any resources you could direct me to.

Hi Dan,

Welcome to the VCCA's website!

I suggest that you start with getting a copy of the 1930 repair manual. I believe it covers cars and trucks and there is usually a section on the body. The reprints of this manual are available from a number of vendors and also on ebay.

In 1930, Chevrolet bought the Martin Parry body company, which produced truck bodies, so another avenue for getting information would be to search for Martin Parry documentation.

Cheers, Dean
