Hello, just found this forum and hoping someone can help me repair my vent window regulators. They work but are very hard to crank. Is there a way to lubricate them that I am not seeing?

Thanks in advance

If you cannot get to the bearing and gear mesh areas you will need to disassemble things until you can. I lube with graphite grease. Don't ever use WD-40 if any mechanisms are of pot metal.

J Franklin, why do you say not to use WD-40 if they are made of pot metal?
