Hey all. Recently picked up a 31 AE Independence pick up. The old Stovebolt cranks but does not start. I replaced the coil, cap & rotor, points, spark plugs and wires. I also rewired the entire truck. Any tips to get this old man running. I have spark and fuel. Thinking it must be timing but not to knowledgeable on how to set it properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

when i got my 1929 years ago i came up with a start plan based on discussions here.

here is a link to what i do when i start from square one on an engine to get it to start. https://vccachat.org/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/281335

you can also do a search on timing, start up, etc..,. tons and tons of info on fresh starts :)
