Hey all. Recently picked up a 31 AE Independence pick up. The old Stovebolt cranks but does not start. I replaced the coil, cap & rotor, points, spark plugs and wires. I also rewired the entire truck. Any tips to get this old man running. I have spark and fuel. Thinking it must be timing but not to knowledgeable on how to set it properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Even if the timing is off one will often get one or more cylinders firing, often as a backfire. If that's not happening I'd first do a compression check.

Thanks Tiny. I will start there and see what that determines for the path forward.
