The time has come to recreate my First Car!

It has to be a 1960, has to be a Biscayne, has to be a 2 door. Has to have been BORN as a 6 cylinder. (I don't care if it's been swapped to a V8 - I can put it back to a 6 - and I don't care if there is no engine present). The serial number therefore will begin 01111xxxx. Has to have a Title, and needs to be at least a roller. Interested in virtually any condition, show car to project. And I don't care where it's located, I'll get it here!

You can even talk me into a Finder's Fee! Haha!

Have you seen one??? ManyThanks.

I had one in great condition and ran perfectly. The interior still had the bubble seat covers and was the same color as in your pictures. But I'm sorry to say that I sold it years ago and I don't remember who bought it. I just didn't have the storage space for it.

Hi, John - I guess you're saying there's absolutely no chance of finding whoever bought that 60 Biscayne.. how MANY years ago? We talking 3 years, or 30??? It probably ended up with a giant V8 shoved down its throat, purple leather interior, and tires 2 feet wide..... that's what I keep finding. I appreciate the response, though.

My friend has a turquoise Bel Air 2 door post that is for sale. He says he knows of a black Biscayne nearby. I don't know any other details about them. The cars are in central Missouri. contact me for his phone number.

Mike, thank you so much for that lead! Much appreciated! I had a great conversation with your friend, and we may very well be doing some business together, it sounds like.

And I need to post here that I have bought a car!!!! Its in California, on its way to me Monday. Being a central California car, it's essentially rust free - but it needs a total restoration. And critically, it needs a correct 1960 235 6 cyl put back (it was born as a 6 cylinder, the VIN is 01111xxxx). So I may buy a SECOND parts car from Mike's friend with a 6 in it, and end up with TWO of these in the end. Ain't this a great hobby...?

Here's my new one coming -

I have always thought those '60's are cool looking cars
