Hi... Hoping some one out there can identify what year & make this solenoid came from.... My 1934 Master had the gas pedal, starter mechanism, Removes and this solenoid mounted on top of my model # 734-S.... (see photo) I hooked up Big battery + cable to the top of the Solenoid.... and a hot wire from the ignition switch (starter terminal) to the small stud on the side of the solenoid.... turned the ignition switch to the spring loaded start position... Nothing.... Then I tried jumping with a screwdriver from the small stud to the big stud (Batt+).... Nothing
Then, I took the solenoid off and put the big Hot battery cable right on that copper wedge on the top of the starter.. and it cranked over the engine real good for 5 minutes....
My conclusion is... the Solenoid is not working.... Does anybody here recognize this Solenoid...?? Does anybody have a working solenoid that they are willing to sell me..? See photos below...

Did someone replace the gas pedal start with a start button on the dash? I may have one like yours I will look tomorrow.

Dave

Just saw Gene's post in your other post. I am almost sure I have one, let you know soon.
