After 8 years of being this special truck’s caretaker, and enjoying every minute of it…I have finally decided to do a complete brake job front and rear.

One particular point of interest is that the truck’s handbrake has never been strong. You pull the hand lever all the way toward the seat to the maximum position, and get very little hand brake effect.

So I investigated today. The driver’s side rear hand brake hardware (lever, rod and spring), as shown in the attached photos is absent. Nothing is attached to the end of the hand brake cable once it enters the brake backplate.

So, I need some help locating a set of those parts…if anyone has them in their stash of parts and are willing to help me out.
