Car has been running very good. Made some temporary fixes to take it to a local event to show it off to folks who haven’t seen it around town for 30 years.
Fixes since new issue began were - 1) tightened collector and to get rid of bad exhaust leak.
2) car had broken driver’s side front motor mount that I put a temporary fix (bolt through engine and body mounting plates ti keep it from going too far to the passenger side under power.
That’s it.
First drive today resulted in running great in 1st and 2nd. Shifted into 3rd and it started missing and “lugging”. Hightailed it back to the house and parked her until I can figure it out.
Feels like it may have something to do with the shift assist or something? Could me making a solid mount essentially on the driver’s side have caused the trouble?
How do I check the fluid level in that system? What does it take?

If the shift assist is leaking vacuum it can cause a misfire. Tony
