I have some very noisey lifter noise on my 1916 490. Im thinking they need adjusted. What is the procedure to adjust them? Looks like the adjustment is at the bottom of the pushrod.

For valve adjustment, the Chevrolet Repair Manual describes the clearance for the intake valves is about .006 inch and exhaust valves about .008 inch. The adjustment is at the bottom of the pushrod.
