Hello Everyone,

The ID pad is located between the distributor and the starter.

0660000 F54X A

This engine is suppose to be a 235, in a 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up. The truck is a stocker, but with a 12 volt up-grade. The PO told my friend the engine had been changed, so to perform any maintenance, I would like to know what year it is.
Thank you in advance for any info.

It is a 1954 1/2 ton truck 235 engine.
A 1953 truck would have had a 216.
