Hello. I am looking for a full tank cover for my 1929 chevy internationale. I would like the help of experts. How different is the 1931-1932 fuel tank cover in the picture compared to the 1929 one. The one in the picture is for sale, but I haven't found anywhere suitable for the 1929 model. Thanks for thinking along.

the 1929 has two openings in the top, one for the fill and one for the gauge
also does not have the fancy recess areas

Here is a picture of mine on my 1929 4 Door

Thank you. overall dimensions - are these the same. could it be possible to put 1931 fuel cover to 1929 chevy, if we to not consider the gauge hole?

I have never tried to use a 1931 gas tank cover on an earlier car. Doubt it would fit without extensive modification. The '29-'30 covers are out there. Just might take a while to get together with someone with one for sale.

There are mounting holes for the spare tire carrier in that cover and a hole for the tail light conduit as well. Chip is right modifications to make it work would be extensive.
