What is the best way to install the sparkplug cork seals? As an aside i have removed the cover plate to try once again to stop the oil leak at the bottom front corner. Spill the beans guys.

I sprayed just one side of the cork rings with Permatex High Tack https://www.permatex.com/products/g...x-high-tack-spray-a-gasket-sealant-6-oz/

Let dry until tacky then stick them on to the cover.

I used Permatex Aviation on the outer gasket.

So far so good!

PS
I left the side of the ring that contacts the head dry.

I use the same approach. I use a gasket sealant/adhesive to stick the rings to the inside of the cover. I let that dry overnight. I do put a light coat of grease on the side of the rings that fit against the head.
